Diseases of the Soul

What is so beautiful but can turn into a mortal wound.? What is something like a flower, a rose without thorns, but can hurt you more, as if the rose had hundreds and hundreds of thorns.? What is the good that will harm you and which you will not be able to overcome.? It can be the honey, which, if you drink, will embitter you more than the bile, will poison, and you in turn will keep on poisoning as a chain that has no end.

What is that marvel that should remove the darkness but by being so strong and powerful, it will force you to close the eyes, in such strong way that you will fall into the worst darkness ?

What is that voice of hope that will pull from the soul your own hope.? What is that tender affection, sweet and surrounding that will turn into a sharp knife and will make you bleed? What is the love so vast and big that will squash you as a gigantic rock? What could happen if an infinite sea would pretend to remove the thirst but instead it would drown you? What is that warmth and fire that by trying to protect you and to light your path, instead will burn your skin and bones?
What is it but an overflowed love which by overflowing, has turned into an excessively complaisant love?
